SRI RAGHAVENDRA CHITRAVANI AWARDS PRESENTED

The 14th annual awards in the 38th year of existence from Sri Raghavendra Chitravani were presented in a gala function at Sri Chamnudeswari Studio on 30th of May in Bengaluru.

Ghanshyam Bhandage of ‘Ingale Marga’ and Sadagopan of Sri Chamundeswari studio came up with new additions for the next year of Sri Raghavendra Chitravani annual meet and awards event.

On Saturday evening top producer BN Gangadhar and Journalist from Mysooru Rajan were given the Sri Raghavendra Chitravani awards while the awards given by Dr Rajakumar family for Geetha Upendra Kumar, Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana Seshadri award for Tiptur Raghu, Dr Jayamala award for Smt Shylasri, Kichcha Sudeep award for RN Sudarshan, KV Jayaram award for Chandrakanth, PGS award by Vinayak Ram Kalagaru to Jayanth Kaikini (received by Yogaraj Bhat), Hunsur Krishnamurthy award for Naveen Krishna for dialogues, MS Ramaiah award for Ulidavaru Kandanthe music director Ajanith Lokanath, Rakshit Shetty received best debut award from B Suresha for direction.

Cinema is ‘Okkuta Kale’. The days of Dr Rajakumar were Naavu Ulibeku Neevu Belibeku has gone and Naav Belibeku, Neev Alibeku has taken route. I am here today because when I took classes as lecturer from a teacher post in APS College ‘DV Sudheendra’ was my student. I would definitely agree with national award winning actor Sanchari Vijay. I am finding ‘Mujugara in this Santosha’. When such a situation arises it is possible to grow properly feels Prof Baraguru.

At the well designed RCV awards journalist and actor Yethiraj conducted the show and made it musical evening too. National award winning actor Sanchari Vijay was honored with bouquet and trophy of Sri Raghavendraswamy.

Sudheendra Venkatesh welcomed the gathering and thanked for the support on this occasion. Sunil Sudheendra son of DV Sudheendra and DG Vasu with Pavan son of Sudheendra Venkatesh supported in conducting of the event.
